UPDATE - RealPlayer Security Vulnerability

Real has created a patch for RealPlayer 10.5 and RealPlayer 11 that addresses the vulnerability identified by Symantec on 10/18. Real will make this patch available to users via this blog and our security update page (http://service.real.com/realplayer/security/en/) later today.

Those users with RealOne Player, RealOne Player v2, and RealPlayer 10 should upgrade immediately to RealPlayer 10.5 or RealPlayer 11 and install the patch to ensure this security vulnerability is addressed.

The patch published on

http://service.real.com/realplayer/security/191007_player/en/

fails to inform users, if it was installed sucessfully and users are indeed protected.
I find, that the version of the dll is not changed by that update nor is a killbit set.

Please clarify that.

I have just come from looking at my Paypal account and you guys have got me for another $15.00. First off, you advertise 14 days free, but you still want credit card info. You Know Why? Because they take the $14.99, for the first month of usage after the free 14 days, right away.
