Realplayer Gold Version Released

On Thursday, November 15th, we launched the new RealPlayer Gold version simultaneously in 10 languages as well as the Mac Beta version.  Now, around the world, consumers can control their internet video viewing experience and even transfer it to an iPod with the Plus version.

This commercial release version includes many customer experience improvements identified through the beta experience as well.

Please visit http://www.realplayer.com to download the new RealPlayer and upgrade to Plus to transfer your videos to DVD or your iPod.

I've used Real for years and years and years....but upon upgrading to Firefox 3 and now 3.1, I've a dead plugin: Realplay Browser Record. I cannot update it, install it or remove it. I reinstalled 11 - same problem. WHEN are you going to fix this?

Upon updating to Firefox 3, I also now find that Realplayer Browser Record is dead. Apparently, the extension is no longer compatible with Firefox. Firefox still shows it loaded, but greys out access, and won't allow it to uninstall or update. Pitty. It WAS an extremely useful tool. What happened? Please fix this ASAP.

I sure is difficult to find a way to contact your office. A customer service or email us link or phone number on your main webpage would really be helpful! I don't what is wrong with the newer versions, but I can't get RealPlayer to stop loading automatically when I log in. It's searching for a file it can't find called rpbrowserrecordupdate. I tried updating the program online, thinking that might take care of the problem, but it still tries to load. It's really annoying. Should I uninstall? Or do you have a fix? Thanks!

I have installed RP 11 gold and though it should have many advantages over its predecessor it has the big problem that after the upgrade the library does not work. Currently I have returned to version 10 which does not have all the bling of version 11 but does work reliably

Does anyone know where I can get a plugin for QuickTime that will allow me to play Real media content in QuickTime and/or convert Real media to either MPEG or MOV so I can play it in QuickTime on Leopard?

Can't install the Free Real Player 11 GOLD. When I try I get "you currently do not have Administrative access to the windows registry . See administrator to download Real Player"

I have checked many blogs and there are countless numbers having the same problem. with no resolve mentioned anywhere.

If you are getting the error when installing RealPlayer: "You currently do not have Administrator access to the Windows Registry. Please see your System Administrator to install RealPlayer."

Try to install in Safe Mode (may require “Safe Mode with Networking”)

If installation still fails,
DELETE any files and temp subdirectories involving the realplayer install from your Temp folder (often windows/temp), perhaps indicated by create/modification dates. When in doubt; delete everything. Nothing in the Temp folder is supposed to be vital.

Wait VBscript Script
GetVer VBscript Script

Once you’ve deleted files, try to install RealPlayer again. (Still in Safe Mode w/Networking)

I am not able to play 3GP files on Real Player now. Previously I was able to play.
It says cannot start playback. I have updated to latest version 11

I have tried MANY times to install the "free" Real Player. I had at one time had this installed on my computer, but I removed it by accident. Now, I get to the point of clicking on Accept and NOTHING happens. The ONLY thing that I can do is click the X in the upper right corner to cancel the setup. I use Windows Vista Premimum. This is SO frustrating! Does anyone have any suggestions? OR have you had this problem and fixed it?
