Great news! We're ready to tell everybody how to access their Rhapsody Listening History feeds. Unfortunately, those of you who have already been using these feeds I mentioned recently might have noticed error messages today. Sorry for not warning you about this. We're getting close to launching them publicly, and decided to add some privacy features before we do. Rhapsody Listening History Feeds are all set to "Private" by default which means that other people can't see your feed until you set them to "Public." But since they aren't completely switched on yet, there's no link to the page to enable them.
To make your Rhapsody Listening History feeds public, go to http://www.rhapsody.com/myrhapsody/rss.html and follow the link labelled "click here to make it public." For everybody else who hasn't tried sharing their listening history feeds yet, that page gives you the URLs to the RSS feeds and some background on how to use them. Here's mine -- enjoy!

Awesome, I have been wanting this for some time now! Thanks alot. Quick question though, I can't get the album art to appear on my RSS feed (I included the URL to my feed). Im not too savvy with them, so its probably something really simple, any ideas?
Also, is there a way to sort the feed so the most recently listened to song is on the top (Instead of album release order)?

Sorry about that, I just answered my own question. Obviously, you can only see album art with the album history feed.
My other question still stands about sorting the list of recently played tracks so that the most recent track is on top (right now it seems as though it is sorted by album release date).

This is a known issue with the Rhapsody Listening History feeds right now. The feeds are published in the order you played the songs, but the RSS pubDate is set to the album's release date. You're probably seeing them sorted by release date because your feed reader is sorting them by the RSS pubDate. We think it makes more sense to have the pubDate be when you played the track, and we're working on changing it to be that way. Unfortunately, it's not a trivial change.
We'ved talked about putting album art in the descriptions of the track feeds as well as the album feeds. What do you think?

I would favor album covers in the title history. It would definately be alot better than just text. That's just me though.

I was just thinking. . .what if instead of album cover, it displayed a picture of the actual artist (like maybe even randomly showing some of the extra photos that some artists have on their rhapsody pages).
Is that at all possible?

Hi - seems like album art disappeared from the album listening history feed. What happened?

This is interesting, but what I would like to do is actually show the last 5-10 songs I have listened to on my site. Is it reasonable to parse out the RSS into a list and maintain the link to the feed?

I found that the album art is now in rhap:album-art, and built my WordPress plugin around that. Now, today, the rhap:album-art field is empty. Temporary problem?

In the info on the main rss feeds page (where you can set them to private or public), it says '...feeds get updated continuously and automatically — every time you play a track', however, I've noticed that they don't. That is, some tracks don't seem to be added at all, and others aren't added until 20 minutes or so after they've been played. Is this a temporary glitch, or something to do with my settings?
