TechCrunch calls Rhapsody "the best service available"
TechCrunch just finished a round-up of music subscription services. They compared Rhapsody against AOL, Napster, Virgin Digital and Yahoo and concluded "Rhapsody has the slickest software and the most intuitive user interface". Thanks for the props! We agree!
The article did seem to miss a few points about Rhapsody.com though. It notes that we offer service on Macs, but doesn't mention that Rhapsody.com also supports Linux systems. Also, the feature summary table says that Rhapsody is client-based as opposed to web-based. Even though you do have to download a plugin to listen to music, we consider Rhapsody.com a web-based experience complimenting the client-based Rhapsody jukebox experience. Sure the web site doesn't have all the features of the client (at least not yet), but we're getting better all the time!

Hi Leo - While we certainly loved Rhapsody, we found your FAQs and help sections to be a complete mess. There is no good description of what services are available for the Mac, for example.
In your help section you say "Windows XP is required for unlimited downloads" on the same page that you discuss the availability of the software for Mac (there are no permalinks from that page, sorry). It's pretty confusing. A very simple FAQ with the service offerings would be a tremendous help.

Hi Michael -- Thanks for the feedback. I haven't looked through our docs in a while, so it's good to get an outside perspective. I'll see what I can do to clean up those FAQs.

When you are going to support Firefox 1.5 on Linux (as opposed to Firefox 1.0, which is the only version currently supported from what I can tell)? Firefox 1.5 has been out for a while now, and most Linux users have upgraded by now, so it's a stretch to say Rhapsody supports Linux when you still don't support Firefox 1.5.

Firefox 1.5 had some serious instability issues when it was first released. They were particularly bad on Linux interacting with our plugin. We think we've got them all addressed now and plan on officially supporting it soon.
